About Reese Electric

Ben Reese began his electrical career in his hometown of Bandon in 1936. One of his earliest jobs was wiring the electric in a temporary shelter for those displaced by the fire that destroyed most of the city.

A decade later, Reese Electric opened its doors in a small house on 1200 South Broadway in Coos Bay.

The business made several location changes before landing at 2011 Union Avenue in North Bend, where it would stay for the next 62 years.

Ben’s son, George, began his electrical apprenticeship program in 1965 and would later take over Reese Electric in 1976 when his parents retired. George lead the business for 28 years and was very successful in growing the business and establishing its reputation.

In 2004 Randy Rema purchased the business and expanded the operations to include a shop in Bandon, as well as relocating the business to its current location at 1750 Sherman Ave.

At the end of 2018 Randy retired and sold the business to Chad Franklin who is now the current owner.

Today, Reese Electric still makes it our mission to provide the most reliable and professional service we possibly can for our valued customers.
